Free Worship Praise Information, Happy is The Man That Knows the God of Jacob
We live in the information era. The simple knowledge that is so common to the average modern-day man nearly exceeds the maximum knowledge of most ancient civilizations. The Internet acts as a wellspring of facts and reports. Yet we lack understanding. The world remains insecure. Every person strives for an elusive joy. Every person puts their trust in the useless hands of other men. Every person craves for happiness amidst continuous confusion.
We long for peace in our daily live. We seek for a man who can show us workable answers. We blame, and we curse, and we deny our own failures. Yet we resist the simple wisdom of an ancient book wherein peace, happiness, and joy reside in having the God of Jacob for our help.
If you are tired and weary of the failed methods of modern leaders, if you are hungry for something better than government handouts and corporate robbery, if you would like to know peace in the mist of storms, herein is the word of God:
“ 1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.” (Psalm 146:1-10).
Happy is the man that makes the God of Jacob his source of strength. Study these words. Memorize them. Meditate on them. Know the God of Jacob. Know him better than you know your schoolbooks, better than you know the local news report, better than you know your pastor. Know him better than you know your mate, your children, or yourself. Know him as though your very existence depended upon knowing him, for it does.
He is, beginning in verse six:
· The maker of all things
· The keeper of truth
· The righteous judge
· The giver of food
· Freedom for the bound
· The giver of vision
· Strength to the downcast
· Love unfeigned
· The preserver
· The provider
· Wrath against all wickedness.
Christianity is not an easy walk. It is not filled with roses and cherry blossoms. It is a struggle, and a daily battle against Satan, the wickedness of a fallen world, and the very flesh that seeks to hold captive your soul and spirit. It is a purposeful and deliberate decision to believe the teaching of God through scripture, to acknowledge your own sins, and to recognize and accept Jesus Christ as the only way that a man can be right with God.
Christianity also contains a happiness, a peace, and a joy that cannot be explained by the natural mind.
Will you come to Jesus today? Will you stop trusting in the foolishness of the American government, and trust instead in the truths of God? Will you believe the words of an ancient and trustworthy book that proclaim the one true God of creation as Lord and master?
“ Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God”.
